☆AoS 2×20 + 2×21: S.O.S pts 1 + 2☆

HOLY SHIZBALONI. SO MUCH. SO MANY FEELS.

I am a mess, so this post will not be ordered or anything, this’ll just be me spitting out my random thoughts. Nice 😎

bobbi tied up

(link1)

(link2)

OMG HUNTINGBIRD??? AND JUST BOBBI IN GENERAL. MY LOVE, MY WIFE, THE JOY IN MY LIFE. HOLY– Hm ok. I gotta phrase this a little better. Bobbi is one of my absolute faves in the history of ever, and this episode made me love her so much more. So she’s scared of needles(same here) and Ward sticking needles into her fingers was gross as heck. I was hoping Hunter and May would come save her, but she tried to save herself first. And she did a badass job at trying. But when she was in the chair and they were saying whoever came into  the room next would die… 💔 Well, when she started moving around in the chair, I knew she was trying to put herself in the line of fire. Tbh, I thought she’d die by doing that. When she was almost dead and Lance was so… agh my heart. The end of the episode left with a “I can’t do this anymore” by Bobbi and what does that mean? She can’t do the relationship, I guess. Actually, it probably means working for SHIELD. After thinking about that while I brushed my teeth I was thinking maybe she meant she couldn’t keep living anymore… And, voila! I’ll be writing depressing fanfic about that soon 😉

jiaying

(link1)

(link2)

JIAYING THOUGH???? GAH I HATE HER. I can’t believe she killed Raina? I didn’t love Raina, but she was a very interesting character. She had finally learned to love her new form, and accept her powers– and then Jiaying killed her. 😢 And then at the end of the episode she tried to kill Skye, I just,, that was too far. I mean, yeah Skye had turned against her,,, but trying to kill Skye was rude. And she staged the whole attack, she made Skye believe that SHIELD was attacking Afterlife, and she made all the Inhumans believe that SHIELD was attacking, when really it was just part of her plan. Ugh. I’m not mad that she died, to say the least.

cal with vials

(link1)

(link2)

It was sad that Cal killed her. It was nice of him though, so that Skye wouldn’t have to go through that pain, but still. Killing your own wife has gotta be really sucky. When he got that adrenaline shot and went crazy, well… that was creepy and weird. Apparently he’s Dr. Hyde in the comics, so I guess that has something to do with it. That was creepy though… At the end when he and Skye parted.. feelings. But then he went through the TAHITI program?? That was sad and depressing. I get that it was good in the big scheme of things,,, but it still sucked. Oh well, he seemed happy at least.

Simmons with teary eyes

(link1)

(link2)

FITZSIMMONS. Okay so when Fitz said “Science, beyotch.” was my favorite thing ever. ever. And Simmons realized that she cared about him in that way and they were so about to kiss or something but then Coulson had to interrupt and Simmons was crying and shooting me in the head would hurt less. Okay, maybe that was a hyperbole. But still. And at the very end, they were about to go on a date… and then. Okay so the episode ended great, everything was tied up, it was nice and good, and THEN. Really? Did Simmons have to be sucked in by that weird rock thing. Gah, why did Fitz accidentally open it? And we have to wait until Fall to find out what happened to her… 😓

kara, dying

(link1)

(link2)

And OH MY GOD Ward killed Kara?!?!?! wtf. And now apparently Ward is HYDRA again… but i cannot believe he killed Kara agh that sucks! Why did Kara have to die? And Ward is never going to forgive himself for killing her,,, agh. Kara said that killing Bobbi at one point didn’t feel right, and Kara was just a cool character and now she’s dead for Ward’s manpain? Ughhhhhhh.

mack

(link1)

(link2)

Mack is back! I liked him and Skye kicking butt together. And he chopped off Coulson’s arm was nice. I mean, maybe it was kind of crazy, but it was needed. I’m happy May and Skye seem to be friendly again. And May and Andrew… friendly might not be the right word. 😜 Lincoln saying that they weren’t bad, just misled was cool bro 😎 I loved the finale, but I’m mad about the cliffhanger ending.

Well, that’s all for now!

☆AoS 2×20: Scars☆

Yo yo yo!

I’m too lazy to add pics to this post, sorry!

First– Mackkkkk. I had seen that his name was in the Guest Starring section, so I figured he might not be around very much, but I wish he hadn’t left SHIELD. Tbh, after he went down in the pit he’d been less likable, and he wasn’t bringing a whole lot to the team, but… Aw.

I love how there is just one SHIELD now. I’m happy SHIELD is at least getting along.

Jiaying is weird. Something had always seemed off about her, and now she killed Gonzales and made it seem like he had shot her. Now Skye is going to be against SHIELD, at least for now. Plus, Jiaying said that discovery requires experimentation. Whitehall always said that back in the day… Is Whitehall somehow controlling her, or her body? Or is she just more intense than we thought? Hm…

When Ward shot Bobbi in the head, I thought for a second that Bobbi was dead. That second was scary as hell. Bobbi is one of my absolute faves, and if she died, I’d… Well, I’d be hella mad. I understand that Kara is mad about what happened and how she was treated, but– Bobbi tried to be nice, and she mentioned how they had known each other before. But now Kara and Ward are the let’s get revenge couple. Ah well.

I loved how Simmons gave Skye the hula girl thing, and Fitz’s joke. Fitz/Simmons/Skye are one of my favorite friendships ever.

May is a better mother figure for Skye than Jiaying, imo.

And Bobbi is awe-freaking-some. She’s the one who questions why Kara is getting locked up, she’s the one who says Coulson is a good man… How could anyone not like Bobbi?

Next week is the two-hour, two-episode, season finale! It’s gonna be crazy, and I can’t wait!

Later,

☆AoS 2×19: The Dirty Half Dozen☆

Simmons in The Dirty Half Dozen

(link1)

(link2)

First, I’m going to talk about Simmons. In this episode, she did some pretty crazy stuff, like trying to kill Ward. I love how Fitz and Simmons were talking again, and it seemed like they were messing around. And then Fitz said something along the lines of Simmons being serious about wanting to kill Ward, and she was. I can’t believe she did that. Luckily, Ward didn’t die. But, sadly, Bakshi did. Obviously Simmons is scared about Ward being back, and arming herself would be one thing… But actually trying to kill Ward… That’s going too far.

Skye, Simmons, Ward and Bakshi

(link1)

(link2)

The team was back together in the episode, which was great! It was amazing how Ward was trying to talk about the plan, and he was unnerved by all the death-stares. When Fitz said they used to be a family, and Ward broke that, and then Ward said that’s what he regretted the most… 💔 Sometimes I just want s1 back again 😰 It was nice that the original six got back together, I really loved it. This was a great episode 🙂

Lance Hunter and Mack

(link1)

(link2)

I may or may not have slightly shipped a few new ships during this episode… It seems that whenever two people are alone in a room, I can’t help but ship them a bit. Lance and Mack being one… Although huntingbird is my fave. Bobbi and Kara.. I shipped that for like two minutes.. But they were an awesome two minutes! I hated how Ward thought he wasn’t good enough for Kara… Poor Ward. I know some fans are having a hard time forgiving Ward, but I’m not. Ward is p cool.

Maria

(link1)

(link2)

Maria was in this episode– nice. I loved the AoU tie-ins! Made me even more excited to see AoU! Only two more weeks of AoS left though ;-;

Also~ Poor Lincoln and Mike. I loved how Skye saved Lincoln. I’m really liking Mike a lot now. Raina is cool, I like her. She has awesome powers.

I’m seeing AoU in a few hours!! I’m so excited! AHHHH! I’ll try to post a review of it (spoilers included) late Friday. Here’s to hoping I don’t start bawling in the theater!

later~!

☆AoS 2×18: Frenemy of My Enemy☆

Hey! I’m back and guess what? I’m not late!!! 🙂
Skye in Frenemy of My Enemy

(link1)

(link 2)

Soooo…. Let’s talk about Skye and her family first. Something seems of about Jiaying… I’m not quite sure what, but it seems something fishy is going on with her… Cal is becoming more likable, I love that he’s making an effort to control himself. But– He’s not really succeeding. I mean, he freaked out and hurt Lincoln.. But if he can learn to control his anger, then I think things could be okay. Jiaying isn’t very nice to Cal, which is kind of weird because as far as I know they’re still married. Obviously that doesn’t mean a whole lot, but still. I really do like how Skye is getting a more important role in the show, instead of previously where she was trapped in the cabin.

Fitz
(link1)
(link2)

Fitz and Simmons are getting cooler and cooler. Simmons is being sassy and standing up for what she believes in, and Fitz looks hella great with glasses. I love how when Fitz was worried about Ward, Lance tried to comfort him. Lance and Fitz are one of my brotps now 😍 May choosing to help “real SHIELD” worries me a bit. I understand that she is worried about the secrets Coulson’s been keeping but… Well, I hope she and Simmons can work things out.

Kara
(link1)
(link2)

Kara is p cool. I like how she told Coulson that she was a person, not just “agent 33”, and that she didn’t work for him. I like the relationship between her and Ward, they obviously care about each other a lot.

Bobbi and Mack

(link1)

(link2)

Bobbi and Mack sparring was a great part of this episode, they are so cool! Bobbi said that they should focus on HYDRA, not just Coulson. Bobbi is definitely a good person. If anyone finds her “evil” or “bad”, I will rant on how she is really good 🙂 If you think she is evil, comment and I’ll tell you what I think. fite me. *ahem* Anyway, Bobbi and Mack aren’t completely bad, imo. So. Also~Bobbi is going to be in an AoS spin-off !!! 😆

Last thoughts on the episode~~

Skye saying “Daisy Johnson” was great, I really liked that they put that in there 🙂 Fitz and Lance are a huge brotp of mine now. Mike is amazing. Bobbi is kickass. Bobbi and Mack are best buds and they are amazing. Ward and Kara are cuties. (Dark past cuties, but still) Cal is crazy but he tries to be nice. Jiaying is.. interesting. Lincoln is p cool.

later,

☆AoS 2×17: Melinda☆

I’m actually not that late this time! 😯

This episode was one of my favorites. Well, compared to some s1 stuff, it might not be, but of the recent episodes, it is my fave. This episode had two main plots– both which I found worthwhile and interesting. Plot #1 focused on Melinda May’s past, and we got to see how she became known as “the cavalry”. Plot #2 was Skye learning a bit more about her powers, and learning that Jiaying is her mother. Both of the plots focused on important characters, and they were both important to the overall plot of the show.

melinda may in ep17-- Melinda
(http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Agents-of-SHIELD-S02E17-Melinda-May.jpg)

During all the flashbacks, we got to see who Melinda May once was. It was strange to see her display her emotions like that. I feel bad for her. It seemed like she and Andrew had a nice relationship, so it was sad that that ended. Melinda May changed a lot after those events, but she had reason too. It was a traumatic experience. When I was younger, something happened to me, and I’m different now. (What happened to me wasn’t really a bad thing though, it was nothing like this.) Anyway, I can understand why those events would change her. She had to kill people, and worst of all she had to kill a child. Obviously the girl had some problems, and that was the best option for May in that situation, but that was definitely a defining moment for May. She had loved kids before, and maybe now she still secretly does, so killing that girl was a hard thing to do. I liked how AoS showed the contrast between the old Melinda and the more recent, by showing the same events, but differently. (Showering, seeing Andrew in the morning) And now she is faced with some tough choices. She has learned that Coulson had a secret project he didn’t tell anybody about, and she may have a place in the “real SHIELD”.

Skye looking at Jiaying

In this episode, Skye learned who Jiaying was. It was so nice for Skye to have a mother and a mentor all in one. Plus, I mean, Skye literally moved a mountain. She is learning to enjoy her powers, and like her real self. We also learned that Raina may be able to see the future, which is really cool. Lincoln seemed a bit weird about it, so hopefully he doesn’t try to stop the “perfect family” thing. But, it also could just be that he was realizing Raina’s powers.

It was so cool that Fitz is joining the uber-cool team of Coulson and Lance. I’m excited to see them be a cool team.

I’ll be back soon with some AoU excitement posts!

Until then,

☆AoS 2×16: Afterlife☆

Before we get started, I have a few things to say. These aren’t AoS related, so if you don’t care you can just skip ahead. Thing #1– bad news. I can’t watch Daredevil yet 😦 I’m not 18, and my parents are kind of over-protective so they have to watch it first. Yeah, it sucks. Thing #2– I got a haircut! My hair was almost waist length, and it was super annoying, so I decided to have it cut. It’s about shoulder-length now, and it’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself. Anyway, on to the episode review.

So, being v late & all, I don’t remember all the details of the episode. I do remember some, though.

lincoln

So, in this episode we met Lincoln. I thought he was a pretty cool guy, and it’s good that Skye could find someone with shared life experience. (Comment if you understood that reference)

Anyway, he was pretty cool + he and Skye might fall in love…. Idk but I kind of ship it. And then at the end of the ep, Skye’s mom is back from the dead :0 The sad thing is, Skye doesn’t know it’s her mom. I hope she lets her mom train her, because it was be nice for Skye to have a mentor, + Jiaying is her mother, and it would be nice for Skye to have some blood family.

I wish Raina would be treated better. I mean, she’s done some bad things, yes. But she just went through a change that she expected to be nice and cool and beautiful, and now she thinks of herself as a monster. Some people may think that Raina doesn’t deserve nice things, and to be treated well, because she did bad things in the past. Think of it this way– Natasha has a horrible past, worse than Raina’s, and now she’s funny and nice and good. And how did she get that way? Someone gave her a second chance, a chance to be good. That person showed her the good side, and even when others treated her like a monster, that person treated her like a human with a potential to be good. Raina need someone to treat her like that.

Also~ I loved the Fitzsimmonsy parts of this ep. The way they switched out the cube, and lied, saying Simmons had tried everything. And then Fitz got away with the cube, yay! And she gave him his favorite sandwich!!! And she wrote Love, Jemma on the note inside. Damn, I ship them so hard!!

I’ll try to post soon after tonight’s episode. I’m so excited to finally learn about Melinda May’s past! (By the way, I’m so obsessed with AoS that I had a dream about Skye and Fitz last night…)

☆AoS 2×15: One Door Closes☆

So, I’m late, but better late than never!

This episode had a lot of flashbacks. But, I loved them. We got to see why Bobbi and Mack joined “the real SHIELD” and we got to see more of Isabelle Hartley! I really wish she hadn’t died now ;-;. I’ve heard some people hating on Bobbi & Mack, though 😦 People have said that this “real SHIELD” only tries to stop Coulson, while normal SHIELD tries to stop HYDRA and protect people. And I get that, I really do. The “real SHIELD” isn’t helping people right now, not really. But Bobbi and Mack are good people. They might not be doing the right thing right now, but they think they are. They are trying to help, they are trying to be good people, they are trying. They might be making the wrong choices, and they might have a viewpoint that is considered “wrong”, but they are a part of “real SHIELD” because they believe that’s the right thing. They chose “real SHIELD” when HYDRA infiltrated SHIELD, when no one knew who to trust. When their world was falling apart, “real SHIELD” seemed like the best option. Maybe now they have their doubts, but they chose their path when their planned paths fell apart. So they have an emotional attachment to that choice. Bobbi didn’t want to hurt Skye, and when she thought Skye was going to get hurt, she yelled her name. Mack jumped on top of Fitz to protect him from “real SHIELD” busting in. Mack and Bobbi may not be doing the “correct” thing, but they are trying to protect their friends, and that’s important.

On a different note, in the flashback when Bobbi said to give the “Franny’s Saloon” keychain thing to Lance, I died. I need to know more of their backstory! I love that Hunter and Coulson are going to try to fix SHIELD. I’ve been liking Hunter a lot more lately. I always liked him well, but now I absolutely adore him.

I wish we had more of Fitzsimmons and Skye. They are important characters, and they deserve bigger plotlines. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Gordon before this episode, but I definitely like him now. I think he’ll be a good mentor to Skye, and I’m glad that she’ll meet some more inhumans. Maybe she’ll learn to accept and love herself. Gordon’s connection with her mother will, I think, be a big possibility for Gordon and Skye to bond. When Skye was changing the water’s stream, she seemed to like her powers, and I’m hoping she’ll feel great about her powers more.

I’m excited for the next two episodes! This coming Tuesday Skye will meet Lincoln, another inhuman, and the episode after that we get to learn more about May’s past! I’m so excited!

☆AoS 2×14: Love in the Time of Hydra☆

Ayyyy. Time to post about the latest episode of AoS, yo.

Soooooo. I wish Fitz and Simmons had bigger storylines.
fitz with simmons in bg
(http://static.east.abc.go.com/service/image/ratio/id/VDKA0_b4ujnlut/dim/1200.2×1.jpg?cb=0032)

Lately they’ve just been side characters, and I don’t like that. I love how Fitz supports Skye, saying she might be like an Avenger. (And, from season 1, we know she’s a pretty big Avengers fangirl) Fitz said that the scariest change was Simmons, and I have to agree. I understand where she’s coming from, though. Simmons and Triplett were pretty close friends, and having him die because of alien superpowers– she has a reason to be scared. But if she goes so far as to kill people with alien superpowers, then it’s too much. And she did say that she wouldn’t mind if Raina died. So, she’s going to dangerous territory. When Skye mentioned that Fitz wants a dog now, instead of a monkey, it kind of broke my heart. 💔 I don’t know why he doesn’t like monkeys as much, but they’ve always been Fitz’s thing, and I hate that it’s changed. But dogs are cool, too, so it’s not too bad.

Enough about Fitz and Simmons, though. They were hardly even in this episode. The first plot-line I’m going to talk about is the “Love in the Time of Hydra” one.

The episode was named after that plot-line, and for good reason– that was the main plot of this episode. It wasn’t exactly love though, not in my mind. Maybe the beginnings of love, but I don’t think they’re that far along yet. I love how protective Ward is of Kara(Agent 33, but I’m only going to be using her name now, because she’s a person, not just a number.) and how he tries to help her find closure. Poor Kara. She’s struggling to come to terms with her identity, as it’s been wiped away and replaced by blind compliance. Luckily, by the end of the episode, she’s starting to become more comfortable with her identity. (And her face, for that matter.) When she used Skye’s face to try to get Ward’s attention… poor baby Kara. I’m glad Ward’s helping her with all of this. That said, I wasn’t a huge fan of this plot-line.

Next plot-line: “the real SHIELD”.

We learned a little more about this version of SHIELD in the episode, but still– I don’t really like their main goal. I love Bobbi though. Sure, she’s a traitor. But I still like her, and I feel like she is a good person. Her actions may not show that right now, but she has good inside her. Mack, on the other hand, didn’t hesitate to put Lance in a chokehold when Lance questioned the secret. Mack can still be redeemed, I’m sure, but right now his actions aren’t making me like him very much. The next episode will put Mack and Bobbi to the test, and then we can see their true intentions.

Last but not least– Skye.

There wasn’t as much Skye as I would have liked in this episode. She is struggling with her powers, and I think she deserves a bigger, if not the biggest, plot-line. Coulson and May have good intentions with putting Skye in the cabin. Still, isolation might just make it worse. Being in the field is an even worse idea. So, the cabin was a good idea. But Skye needs some help and comfort. She at least needs some company. Hopefully things will go better for her soon.

That’s all for now. I’m excited for the next episode!

☆AoS 2×13: One of Us☆

I’m not actually that late this time! Woot woot!

So, the episode. Personally, I didn’t like this episode as much as some. Andrew was pretty cool, and there were some highlights. But overall, I didn’t feel like this episode was as good as normal. 😕  I’m sure this was someone’s favorite episode, and I don’t mean to offend. Different opinions, right? S’ok. ANYWAY. We met a new character this episode– Andrew, May’s ex-husband. It was nice to have him on the show, trying to help Skye. I, like Simmons, wonder why they broke it off– When we see May and Andrew chatting in the kitchen, it seems special. May doesn’t act that way around anyone else. Andrew is apparently dating someone else, though. I was reluctant to ship them anyway, because I’m already trying to mentally force one divorced couple back together. 😉 When Fitz and Simmons are talking about the fact that May and Andrew obviously still have feelings for each other (while basically talking about themselves) We see that the owner of the Grumpy Cat mug (as seen in a previous episode) is Fitz. Nice.

(Wrong subtitles, I know. Not my pic.) Yes, I have inserted a picture! My first picture 🙂 This was suggested by the amazing L. I don’t want to mess with copyrights, so I posted the link here just to be safe. Not sure if this pic will show up, but either way, I’m going to start posting pics.

Anyway! Cal gets a group of inhuman people together, and he’s starting to become likable in the crazy uncle kind of way. Although the people he pulls together have remarkable powers, they don’t do very much damage, which was a bit surprising. They target Coulson’s hometown, and we learn that Coulson’s father died when he was only 9. Aww. Also we learn that Skye wasn’t containing her powers– she was hurting herself instead. Poor Skye 😢

Last but not least– the other SHIELD. When Lance was yelling about how he wanted Bobbi to rot in hell, well 💔  This other SHIELD is interesting… I’ve heard rumors that it could be SWORD or AIM. (I haven’t read enough comics to have theories like that myself) Who knows. Luckily it seems like we’ll find out more in the next episode.

Bye for now!

☆AoS 2×12: Who You Really Are☆

Sorry for the late post once again. I’ve been sick and lazy, so.. ye. Anyway, let’s get to it.

In this episode, Sif is back! She brings some humor to the show, which is nice, seeing how the show has been so dark lately. I kind of hoped she would have lost her memory for longer, but it was still interesting. Coulson and May asked if the name Thor was familiar to her, and she said she did not know the name but it made her smile. So that was pretty cute. May and Skye were sparring, and Skye was worried about hurting May, and Fitz came over to see if Skye was okay. Ahhh I just love the FitzSkye friendship !  At the beginning of the episode (the Bobbi/Lance after-sex scene) it seemed like Bobbi and Lance were getting back together. I mean, obviously they had been working on it (the after-fight make-out and going to have sex in the car) but it seemed like they were getting better emotionally, too. And later when Bobbi is investigating the kree guy’s weapon, Lance is flirting with her. Mack had told Bobbi to push Lance away, so Bobbi told Lance that she wanted to take things slow. Lance was obviously unhappy, but as he left he said to Bobbi– “Don’t die out there, yeah?” Which gave me many feels. My friend was saying that everyone might lose their memory, and another friend was saying that after killing the kree guy everyone would get their memory back. That would have been interesting, but alas, that didn’t happen. We got to learn more about blue angels that fell from the sky, which was interesting. Skye’s powers were found out, and Sif and kree guy tried to incapacitate Skye, believing her to be dangerous. May pulled Skye away and tried to help her control her powers. (May/Skye mother/daughter-relationship feels, ok?) Everyone was saying that Skye was dangerous and that Fitz should have told them, because Skye was a danger to them. Skye overheard, and locked herself away. Fitz said that the others knowing about Skye’s powers was dangerous to her, and he went after Skye to try to convince her that she didn’t need to lock herself away. And the very end of the episode, Lance confronts Mack about the secret, saying that he knows it’s not just a support group. Mack grabs Lance, and makes it so Lance passes out. Mack is like– crap, what do I do now? Yikessssss. The secret that Bobbi and Mack have is stressing me out. It’s ruining the hopes of Bobbi and Lance getting back together and Bobbi and Mack seemed like good characters, I don’t want them to be villains.

Well, I’m excited for the next episode. I’ll talk to you then!
