✿Agent Carter 2×10: Hollywood Ending✿

way late, but here’s a quick review of the season finale of Agent Carter. Overall, it was kind of disappointing, imo. Probably because we’ve had 2 hr normal weeks, with more suspense, and more time. More time to get into it, and stuff, yanno? and this was shorter, and less exciting, i guess. kudos to this review for helping me remember the episode.

Jason Wilkes
(link1)
(link2)

First off, Jason is alive!! yayyyyyyy!! And at the end of the episode, we find he is planning to work with/for Howard Stark, so hopefully he’ll be happy 🙂 He’s a cool character.

Manfredi
(link1)
(link2)

We find out, that Manfredi is actually friends with Howard. It seems he’s attacking, but suddenly he’s best buds with Howard.. a relief, but a bit confusing. Anyway, Howard is pretty funny in the episode — not always funny in a nice way; funny in a very Howard Stark way, if u know what I mean.

Peggy and Sousa kissing gif
(link1)
(link2)

The end is a little more intense… they need to close the ‘rift’ and to do so they’ll have to go into a dangerous area close to the ‘rift’, risking their lives. They discuss who should risk their life, and turn around and realize Sousa is doing it. Everyone struggles pulling him out, which includes Howard making jokes about ‘thinking unsavory thoughts’ about Peggy. Funny, but somewhat rude. See what I mean about Howard Stark humor? Peggy starts getting ready to back to NY. Jarvis asks her why, why wouldn’t she rather stay? For reasons (see: Sousa). Peggy says she’s got everything back in NY– her job, her roommate (cue me melting bc peggyangie y’all. just a mention of my angel gets me HYPED), etc. Anyway, Peggy decides she’ll go ahead and stay. She goes to Sousa, and they start making out. Well, not right away, it starts with a simple kiss. Now, Sousa/Peggy is great and all, but I ship Cartinelli too much for me to really enjoy it. Sadly, at the end, Thompson is shot and killed. Now, I know he’s kind of a douche, but still. Ugh 😦

Let’s hope Agent Carter and Peggy get renewed for another wonderful season!

✿Agent Carter 2×06 + 2×07: Life of the Party + Monsters✿

These episodes were really intense! And awesome, as always! This won’t be in order things happened, just my thoughts sputtering out.

Jarvis and Peggy in waiting room
(link1)
(link2)

First of all, Ana was shot! :O It was super sad 😦 She’d just been bonding with Jason, and when she found out that he was missing, she ran outside to look for him. Then she was shot. I shipped Ana/Edwin so damn much in these episodes, omg. He was so scared the whole way to her, and when they got to her he was freaking out. Later he’s in the hospital with Peggy, and he’s just an absolute mess :c I really hope she’s okay, for her sake and Jarvis’s.

Jason and Ana
(link1)
(link2)

Jason cured himself, and all was going well– although I don’t think he was cured forever, but definitely good for then. He kissed Peggy as soon as he could, which was absolute cuteness. He had a nice dinner with Ana, and I totally ship them platonically. Whitney/Agnes came to kidnap him, and their dialogue was pretty amusing, although I’m not quite sure why. Jason is just so normal, where as Peggy and Sousa and stuff are more professional and used to field work, at least. Whereas Jason is more ??? and I like that. I hope he gets rescued!!

Dottie and Jarvis undercover
(link1)
(link2)

Peggy had to have Dottie help her in this episode. Dottie was so hilarious. Literally everything she says is funny. She’s so awesome omg. And I totally ship her with Peggy, like kill me now. This episode would have been nothing without her.

Jarvis is hilarious, when he and Dottie were undercover, and he had to talk to Thompson and stuff was great. And when he was saying ‘abort’ into his glasses– best ever.

Sousa leaning towards Peggy
(link1)
(link2)

Peggy and Sousa had a bit of a thing… He told her about the fact that Violet had broke off the engagement, and they almost kissed. Jarvis was teasing Peggy about it later (he’d been listening in though the glasses) and she confessed that they were both great guys, and she didn’t know what to do. Jarvis and Peggy are the best friendship ever tbh.

Well, those were my thoughts that I could remember from those eps. Double episode tonight, too!

Enjoy it!

✿Agent Carter 2×04: Smoke & Mirrors✿

late, but still (somewhat kind of) great !! >:-c

Peggy in her flashback wearing a wedding dress.
(link1)
(link2)

In this episode, we got to see flashbacks of Peggy’s life as a child, how she rebelled against the typical games and manner of a polite young girl of those times. We get to meet her awesome brother, Michael. She grows up, and we learn she is offered a job in combat, but she denies, saying that’s not her plan for her future, and she doesn’t think she’s suited to that kind of work. We learn she is engaged, as well. She gets a letter inviting her to join still, but she ignores it. Michael, who works in the army, meets Peggy’s fiancee, who I can’t remember the name of. He asks Peggy if this is really what she wants, asking her to remember her childhood and consider a life of combat. He then admits that he’s the one who recommended her to the SSR (or whatever it was called then). She says that this is what she wants, and she doesn’t have to listen to him. Later on, Peggy’s mother is helping her try on her wedding dress. Her mother then goes to the door, it’s army people telling her that Michael has died. Peggy is very sad and emotional, of course, and she takes the letter into consideration, in Michael’s honor. I wish Peggy didn’t have to go through all this pain– Michael dying, Steve dying, and so on. Michael seemed like such a good character, too. It was an interesting set of flashbacks!

Whitney / Agnes with a large crack on her face, exposing the zero matter inside.
(link1)
(link2)

Whitney / Agnes had flashbacks in this episode, too. About her life as a young girl, loving science despite her mother telling her it wouldn’t get her anywhere, and growing up and using her pretty face more to her advantage, and taking on a job as an actress. She kills this guy that Peggy is interrogating, who (I think) was also the guy who used to date her mother, and her husband finds out that she’s not quite human anymore. I’m sympathetic to her backstory, and her position, and she certainly intrigues me. However, I do not support her current actions– She’s the villain of the story, and she acts like one.

Jarvis holding a tranquilizer gun
(link1)
(link2)

This episode was really funny! Jarvis gets tranquilized and says “Jarvelous”, Peggy and Sousa interrogate a guy by giving him a severe cold and telling him it’s a deadly virus, and general tranquilized Jarvis is hilarious 😂

✿Agent Carter 2×03: Better Angels✿

Peggy from the episode, side view
(link1)
(link2)

Agent Carter is awesome, you guys! Expect this post to be short and sweet– because (like always) it’s a week late, and I (sadly) forgot a lot of what happened. BUT I may glance at other reviews for a little idea. Also, only one pic this post bc i’m FAR too lazy to find good pics/gifs and link accordingly, tbh. sorrs.

First of all– Jason Wilkes is back!!! Yayyyyy!!!! yay!!1 BUT BUT BUT he’s only part there– he can be seen, but not touched– Howard is able to get him this far, and they plan to fix him eventually. But yay, he’s back!! I so wasn’t ready for him to be gone so soon, and him and Peggy have awesome chemistry, like dang.

Howard was in this episode, being his playboy Tony-esc self, but he’s pretty entertaining, and I loved how Peggy was all like “Howard’s a good boy!” that part was amazing. And it was funny how Peggy was all “a movie based off a comic book sounds stupid” but that’s where she first appeared (aside from comics themselves, i mean) and that’s basically what her show is now. (except, you know, it’s a show)

Whitney Frost is evil as always, she’s not a good person, and I don’t quite like her… but she’s interesting, like how she cried to get her husband to do stuff for her, even when he obviously didn’t want to. Now, I’m always on Peggy’s side– I don’t want Whitney to win– but if we get some more insight into her actions, now, that wouldn’t be half-bad.

There was a hint of a weird-something with Jack Thompson… a maybe HYDRA bound sort of weird-something. Which, okay, I’m not a fan of Jack, but I’d still like him to NOT be HYDRA. Like, there was a moment (when you say to yourself, ‘oh there you are, i’ve been looking for you forever’) in s1, where he had PTSD and like I think he has some redeeming qualities, even if they’re buried in all the bad ones.

So, that’s that! Here’s to hoping I don’t wait so long to review this coming ep.

Let’s also hope I can restrain from making any more Glee references on this blog. I mean, god, Victoria, get a hold of yourself.

Anyway, let’s have fun watching AC tonight!!

✿Agent Carter 2×01 + 2×02: The Lady in the Lake + A View in the Dark✿

Peggy
(link1)
(link2)

Agent Carter came back, with a wonderful two-hour, two-episode premiere! I loved it, Peggy kicks ass and it’s great to have her back <3333 I really missed the fact that Angie is gone, and was never even mentioned. Like, at the end of the last season, they were living together??? and now Angie is but a distant memory??? like what!!!??? (well, i’m a bit biased, i LOVE angie and cartinelli but sTILL). Jarvis is funny as ever, and we got to meet some awesome new characters who were really intriguing.

Ana Jarvis
(link1)
(link2)

We got to meet Ana Jarvis, who is super cool!!! she’s hilarious and amazing!!! she’s really nice to Peggy, and doesn’t mind Jarvis and Peggy being so close, which is refreshingly nice! I hope we get to see more of her, bc she’s totally amazing!!!!!!!

Jason Wilkes
(link1)
(link2)

Jason Wilkes was super awesome. The relationship he had with Peggy, although short-lived, was adorable. He was sweet and nice and flirty and :3 Sadly, he died. Although, Whitney came back after that, so maybe he will too? But even if he does, he’ll probably be consumed by the monster-void stuff, so. :c

Dottie
(link1)
(link2)

Dottie is insanely awesome. She wasn’t in it a whole lot, but she’s a very intriguing character, and she has a pretty obvious thing for Peggy so I’m shipping that now… What with Angie gone, I need another PeggyxGirl ship. bc bisexual peggy carter ftw!!

Whitney Frost
(link1)
(link2)

Whitney Frost. (And her husband, idk his name oops) Anyway, they’re bad guys(i guess), but now things are even crazier bc Whitney has been consumed by the black-hole-esc void stuff. well, that’ll be an interesting storyline!

i’m pumped for tonight’s episode!!

☆AoS 3×09: Closure☆

i’m late, and I forgot what happened in this episode, so this’ll surely be an interesting review.

Rosalind
(link1)
(link2)

S0. Oh my god. Rosalind was shot in the throat and killed. Tbh, I was never a huge fan of Rosalind. Still, she was a female character, so it sucks that she died. Sure, there’s other females. But, I mean– Izzy, Kara, Jiaying, and now Rosalind go on the list of strong females that deserved more of a plot. Anyway, Ward shot her (from an incredibly far distance, I might add) with a sniper, killing her. Just when it seemed Coulson had found someone he liked, and who liked him. Coulson becomes hellbent on revenge, and Coulson and Ward continue to anger each other, resulting in both of them throwing their phones angrily.

Simmons looking at Fitz

(link1)

(link2)

Fitz and Simmons got captured again 😦 It was very a very sad scene– Ward had Simmons tortured in another room, and made Fitz listen to her screams. Simmons was shown being extremely brave, and not backing down to Ward. She’s really such a great character, and her story and development is enthralling to watch. Eventually, Ward forces Fitz to go into the portal, or else Ward will kill Simmons. Simmons asks Fitz not to go, but he does. They say a few sad parting lines, and go. Ward goes in the portal with them.

Thomas Ward
(link1)
(link2)

In this episode we were introduced to an older Thomas Ward. And, can I just say that I love him? I love how Bobbi seemed like a big sister to him– I already stan that relationship(as friends/sibling dynamic, not romantic) and he just seems like a nice, fluffy, cutie. Coulson, Bobbi, and Hunter, capture him and use him to track Ward down. They see that Ward goes into the portal. Then, Coulson jumps into the portal at the last second from the plane– he falls onto the planet and hits his head on a rock.

Also, Mack was standing in for director, and it seems May, Mack, and Daisy, along with Lincoln and Joey, will be going to the scene as well. Tonight’s episode is the midseason finale, which i’m pretty scared for. Don’t worry though, Agent Carter comes back mid-January, and maybe I’ll post some other stuff between them. Fingers crossed my faves survive tonight!

later,

✿Agent Carter 1×08: Valediction✿

This is it. This is the end.

Okay, so this was the finale. Fingers crossed for a season two, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Anyway, this episode was great! As are all the episodes. When Sousa breathed in the crazy gas (midnight oil) That was———– ahhh my baby. I really like Daniel and yeah. If you couldn’t already tell, my thoughts on this episode will mainly be incoherent. And then Howard gave himself up for bait. It so wasn’t his fault. I mean, yes, he did make those things, but it was other people who used them for wrongdoing. When Howard admits that he’s done wrong, but he’s not a bad person and Ivchenko says “Yes. Yes you are” and Howard eyes are tearing up because he knows he’s done bad things. Feels. And then he gets hypnotized. Jarvisssss. When he says he’ll fly the plane and will shoot Howard down if necessary but he really really doesn’t want to hurt/kill Howard but he’s willing to take the risk because if he has to kill him it’ll be to save many more lives. Jarvis is such a good, nice person. I love him. Peggy and Dottie were fighting, and in the end when Dottie was kicked out of the window, I thought she was dead. Near the end of the episode, she’s gone, so she obviously lives. Peggy says that she thinks they’ll run into her again, teasing the thought of a second season. I loved how Daniel had earplugs in and totally didn’t get hypnotized by Ivchenko. That was awesome. Luckily Peggy pulls Howard of his trance, in a scene resembling the one where Steve is about to crash the plane into the water. Afterwards, when we see Peggy walk into the office to join the SSR again, the other agents clap for her. She finally gets the recognition she deserves. I thought maybe she would be treated with more respect. But then some guy who is a senator or something congratulates Thompson. Thompson accepts it, much to my disgust. AHHHH. But Peggy says she doesn’t need anyone to applaud her, because she knows her worth. Daniel got mad at Thompson, which was nice. He’s finally realizing that Peggy deserves to be treated with respect, so that’s nice. And we got to see Angie again! And it looks like she and Peggy will be staying together at one of Howard’s houses! Yay! They’re awesome, and I kind of ship them. I love Angie so muchhhhh. And Jarvis gave Peggy Steve’s blood which was so thoughtful of him. He’s such a sweet guy. And Peggy poured the blood into the water. That scene gave me so many feelings. “Goodbye, my darling.” Made me want to cry. I ship Steggy so much and I really really wish they could have been together and happy and I’ll never be over that. They would have been great together, and they both feel an ache in their heart thinking of each other and I really want them to be together with a burning passion.

This was an AMAZING show, and I really want more. Here’s to hoping they’ll make another season!

✿Agent Carter 1×07: SNAFU✿

Late, I know, but at least I’m posting on Monday instead of Tuesday 😅

so, this episode– There was some hypnotizing… which wasn’t explained. Dottie is cool and amazing. When Peggy was talking about Steve’s blood- Omg, Steggy feels maximized. //cries forever             Dooley wasn’t my favorite character, but it was really sad that he died 😰 When Peggy was being interrogated, that was a good part. I liked the montage of the interrogators, and when she told them what she was to them. Later when they asked how she could have carried out investigation without them knowing, and she says that they never notice her “unless I have your reports, your coffee, or your lunch, I’m invisible.” Which is true, and now hopefully the men realize their mistakes. I love Sousa, he’s pretty dang cool, but like every other agent, he never thought that Peggy was that capable, which disappoints me. But Thompson and Sousa both said they believed Peggy, which is a step in the right direction.

On another note, tomorrow’s episode is the last. Although there are rumors of a possible season 2:

Jose Molina@JoseMolinaTV Feb 17

That’s right, next week is only #AgentCarter‘s SEASON finale. If the ratings are strong, the writers and actors are ready for season two!

Jose Molina@JoseMolinaTV Feb 17

Clarifying: we’re all hoping for a season two of #AgentCarter, which (ratings pending) is very possible. As long as y’all watch — LEGALLY!

So, that means there’s a chance we could have a second season!! 😄 The sad thing is, the ratings haven’t been too good. Us fans have been watching but non-marvel fans aren’t. If you have social media accounts, spread the word about the awesome show called Agent Carter. Make sure people have ways to watch legally, though. Here are some places which say they are legal:

http://agentcarter.net/watch/

http://marvelsagentcarter.tumblr.com/watch

http://www.tv.com/shows/agent-carter/

http://abc.go.com/shows/marvels-agent-carter

Some of those sources may not work for some people, but try them out. If you are posting about Agent Carter online, spread these and other links around so that people can watch the show! I am excited for AoS to start again, though!

I’ll talk to you later about tomorrow’s episode!

✿Agent Carter 1×05: The Iron Ceiling✿

Gah, I’m really late, but I’m making sure to cram this in before tonights episode.

(Reason for my lateness- business, laziness, two performances, etc)

Okay, so we see Dottie as a child in the Red Room. Dottie is the villain, but thanks to others views, I’ve started to like her. Another girl gives Dottie some bread, and the two seem to become friendly. We then see Dottie being instructed to snap the girl’s neck. Later on in the episode, Dottie handcuffs herself to her bed. In the Red Room flashback, the girls were handcuffed to their beds. Through this we can see the lasting effect the Red Room has on Dottie. The Howling Commandos are back! In this episode they truly kick butt. Jack Thompson doubts Peggy at first, dismissing her because of her gender. Throughout the mission he learns to appreciate her. He ends up telling her the fact that he has done a bad thing, but everyone thought it was good, because they didn’t know the whole story. He reveals that he has always tried to tell the story. Peggy is the one he told. At the end of the episode, we see Thompson invite Peggy out for dinner, accepting her as “one of the guys”. Daniel Sousa notices that Peggy is the woman they were looking for, yikes! I’m worried for Peggy. From the trailer for next episode, it looks like Thompson will be the one to confront her. (Or was it Sousa?) When Sousa saw Peggy partially undressed, I was excited for a funny, blush-filled scene, but it wasn’t that lighthearted. I totally ship Sousa with Peg, although I ship her with Angie more. Angie hasn’t been a big part of these last episodes, which depresses me. Dugan is one of my favorite Howling Commandos, I was worried when the young girl stabbed him. Luckily, he survived. My family thought the little girl was evil, although I beg to differ. She had been tortured, and conditioned to be the way she was. Anyway, this was one of my favorite episodes, and I’m excited for the episode tonight!

I’ll try to post again soon!

✿Agent Carter 1×04: The Blitzkrieg Button✿

I know, I know. I’m way late. I have a busy life, sorry. Anyway, I don’t remember many details from this episode but I’ll talk about shiz anyway. So okay, apparently Dottie is a Black Widow?? The coming episode will involve the Red Room?? Or so I’ve heard, thanks to some articles. That’s pretty cool, any connections to Nat are always nice 🙂 Also, Howard is basically a butthole. He lied to Peggy, and he objectifies women. Douchebag, much? The Steve’s blood thing was cool. It’s always nice to see how much Peggy cares about Steve, and aspires to be like him. Steggy4Life. And yay, Stan Lee cameo! He cameos in everything and I love it. Jarvis really seems to be a nice and caring person, and I hope he can patch up his relationship with Peggy. I have heard of some people shipping Howard and Peggy, but I’m like nah. I ship Peggy and Angie. It was mean but kind of clever how the cyanide pills were actually just breath mints. When Sousa captured that guy and was trying to sympathize with him… Yeah okay I love Sousa. I somewhat ship him with Peggy, and some people have speculated that they might get married. We know Peggy can’t marry Howard, because Tony’s mother is Maria. But we do know that Peggy marries a man, so Angie’s out of the picture. Sousa is still an option.  Well, that’s basically all I have to say for now.

I’ll post again soon!
