☆AoS 3×18: Failed Experiments☆

This’ll be short and without pictures, bc I’m low on time

 

the Kree were in this episode, and there was a fight scene between HiveWard and a Kree. however, i didn’t give a crap : i would’ve been happy if both had died.

 

we got to meet O’Brian and Piper — they’re just minor characters for now, but hopefully they’ll become more main, because Piper was really great and I love her already

 

may being undercover was great 🙂

 

lincoln basically risked his life for a slight chance that daisy could be saved. this was partially due to the fact that he loves daisy sm but ALSO he’s def somewhat suicidal + he was an alcoholic.. basically he needs some help. his problems need to be addressed. by fans, too. fans hate him for no reason and :-/. yes, maybe he freaks out and has anger issues : but it’s not just a personality flaw, it’s a mental illness and that nEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

 

there was an emotional scene between daisy and mack, which ripped my heart to shreds/ it was really sad and uGH. she tried to kill him — thankfully he survived. and that means he probably won’t die in the finale, so whew. still. Daisy was shot by May in the process … May’s face as she’s leaving with the team is v sad. I really like May/Daisy mother-daughter relationship, but it never really works out.

☆AoS 3×17: The Team☆

The episode started with the Inhumans kicking butt together, but things soon went south. Coulson found out from Malick that Hive was mind controlling one of the Inhumans. Everyone on the base started to get suspicious of the Inhumans, and when they found out, they all got angry at each other, pointing fingers. It was pretty intense. At one point, they figure out that Lincoln is the one: with proof being items he had in his bag. Lincoln is adamant that it’s not him, and gets very angry. All the Inhumans are put into solitary quarantine for the time being, until they can be sure which of them are clear. Then, Daisy comes to Lincoln’s cage, asking him to run away with her. It’s found out that she is the one who Hive’s been mind controlling, she planted the evidence against Lincoln, and she’s the one who killed Malick. Lincoln yells at her, “Do I really mean that little to you?” and ouch go the DaisyLincoln shippers. OUCH. Anyway, she leaves and starts shaking the base : the rest of the team stirs, and Coulson tries to chase her, but, alas, she’s made it so he’s trapped. Cue end of episode.

Though the episode was quite intense, it wasn’t all bad: Fitzsimmons became canon!! Joey and Elena are my children. I love love love how they speak Spanish a lot, and how the rest of the team is having to learn how to. At the beginning of the episode Joey was in a car, talking to a guy. I remember thinking something along the lines of “oh, I’ll head canon that as his boyfriend, like it’s a date” but then I remembered: Joey is canonically gay, and it was a date. That made me really happy, and basically AoS had better not kill off the one canon gay character. He has to leave his date behind, sadly. He and Elena chat and are adorable. But there are also sad Mackelena feels: it starts out good, they’re learning each other’s languages and it’s adorable. But later when SHIELD is surrounding all the Inhumans, she looks at Mack in shock, who says “Yoyo…” but she says “My name is Elena,” and is cold and that’s it. AHHHHHH. and side note: lincoln/joey in this ep… i’m trash ok.

☆AoS 3×16: Paradise Lost☆

Gideon’s daughter, Stephanie, was in the episode. And she got horrible treatment. She, like her father, was interested in HYDRA. She was basically falling in love with HiveWard. Anyway, so Gideon saw a flash of his death, which was exciting. At one point, it seems Gideon will finally die– but, no Hive kills Stephanie instead. Which is really dumb. Why would they introduce her just to have her killed? Well, for Gideon’s mainpain, of course. Sighs. AoS has a track record of killing of females: Izzy, Jiaying, Kara, Raina, Victoria, Rosalind, and now Stephanie. The annoying thing is that many of them were PoC, and all killed in the same finale. Yay AoS, getting rid of ladies and PoC, all at once! I love this show! Ugh. I’m just hoping they don’t kill Joey or Elena: Elena is another WoC, and Joey is a PoC and the first lgbt+ MCU character (as far as I know, anyway).

Daisy and Lincoln went on a mission, where they tried to get info from some guy Lincoln used to know. Basically, Daisy and Lincoln were being p cute, babes. Also, we learned a bit more about Lincoln’s past: he was an alcoholic and almost killed his girlfriend :O He promises Daisy that he’ll never hurt her, though. I love Lincoln. Some people have been comparing him to Ward: the whole promising Daisy they wouldn’t hurt her, but being toxic. I think Lincoln really has changed though.

 

The team got kidnapped, so that’s yikesy. Tonight will be… well, we’ll see!

☆AoS 3×15: Spacetime☆

late, but this episode was amazing. honestly, i was getting a little done with aos… what with bobbi and hunter leaving and all, it just felt more meh. and i’ve been looking forward to the real o’neals more than aos lately. and i used to LOVE aos. however, this ep brought back tons of love. i just <3333 it was a v special ep for me, it brought back my love for it all ❤️

First off, let’s talk about how much FITZSIMMONS was in this episode!!! I mean omg, i’d been growing a bit tired of their relationship honestly.. even the kiss didn’t bring the spark back for me. but this, this!!! it brought back all that old love for fitzsimmons and i’m so happy it did. in daisy’s vision, she saw fitz and simmons holding hands in the snow. the whole point of the episode was to avoid to whole future vision, but it ended up coming true. anyway, when it comes down to it, it’s not snow– it’s ash. and simmons is like “i think we’re supposed to hold hands now” and so they do, and it’s the cutest thing ever, kill me now. also. coulson called them “fitzsimmons” for the first time in a LONG while. geez. i’ve been rejuvenated.

Secondly, MELINDA MAY >> this ep brought back all my love for her as well!! and i’m so happy it did, seriously, this episode was a blessing. so the team is trying to plan in for the future and so may is trying to act out what’s gonna happen. and so she ends up saying “bang” when “shooting” people, and the people then fall to the ground. and just. the whole scene. such perfection, literally one of my fave scenes from aos ever. EVER. melinda also ran into andrew– he was saying goodbye as lash was about to take over for good. they had a sad, touching, scene. but, honestly, idgaf about andrew anymore. still, i was sad for melinda. he ended up lashing out ,  but who knows if it’s forever. we’ll see.

Thirdly, the team dynamics in this episode were a++. The whole “bang” and fake dying scene I mentioned about was so funny and captured the characters so well. And it’s like the original six again– but Lincoln in place of Ward, which I am so down for. So much. I just really loved the originals again, and asdfghjkl; yes. The team ends up seeing Hive/Ward and they kind of 😮😯😦😧.

 

next episode, tonights. it’ll be hive and his true form (ew) it might include WILL DANIELS MY SON, or at least a mention to him. daisy/lincoln will go through some not-so-great stuff ( noo ), and there’ll be a lot of malick ( can we not, tho? ) still, i’m pumped y’all!

☆AoS 3×11: The Inside Man☆

Coulson and Talbot went on a mission to figure out who was the inside man at a UN meeting. Coulson/Talbot is totally a crack ship, but totally believable. After some drama, and Talbot making guesses on who it was, the meeting started. It seemed like Coulson was doing okay, but then Talbot turns and starts attacking Coulson’s ideas, and making Coulson seem like a bad guy. Things go south, and Coulson realizes Talbot is the inside man. Turns out, though, Talbot’s only working for Gideon Malick because Gideon has his son hostage. Coulson and Talbot end up locked in a cell, but then Creel rescues them — making Coulson realize that Talbot trusting Creel wasn’t so misguided.

Hive was so fking creepy in this episode omg. Or like in any episode tbh. Ew ew ew. Like, at one point in the episode, he consumes like 5 people, and ends up covered in a honey-like glaze. Seriously, he makes me nauseous. It did turn out that he’s getting a more healed, less corpse-y body, so that’s a plus.

Lincoln / Daisy in this ep tho?? Hot as hell but somewhat problematic. They’re sparring at one point, and Daisy ends up on top of him, They’re totally, all pumped, ya know. But then Jemma comes in, she needs Lincoln for something, ruining them moment. Daisy and Lincoln get into a bit of a fight, but make up. As they make up, Lincoln says something about how he doesn’t feel in control of his powers, not like Daisy is, anyway. Daisy responds with something along the lines of ” Sometimes it’s good not to be in control. ” and takes off her shirt. Now, yeah, I ship them. And, yeah, it was kind of hot. However, I’m not quite sure it was the best thing for the moment. Not that Lincoln didn’t want sex, because there was obvious sexual tension in the episode. However, with the way he’d been feeling, maybe watching a movie with his head in Daisy’s lap while she ran her fingers through his hair, would’ve been a better idea. Or at least Daisy should’ve asked him if that’s what he wanted before just taking her shirt off. But that’s just my opinion.

Bobbi/Hunter. I’m dying. The two of them are with May at a point, and turns out Hunter snuck their weapons in. He opens a tray to reveal weapons, including Bobbi’s batons. To which she replies, “I love you.” May adds, “I don’t hate you quite as much” (or something like that) It’s a hilarious moment, really. But the way Bobbi says it so surely, kills me. Like, it’s a random moment, not one that particularly calls for a declaration of love, but she throws it in casually and meaningfully and aGH. Tonight’s episode is supposed to be Bobbi/Hunter centric, but also a tear-jerker, so… YIKES FAM.

First off, in this episode we got to meet Elena/YoYo. aka an amazing new character, and a woc!!! Her power resembles the Flash’s power– basically she can run really fast. However, it’s a little different; she always has to bounce back to the same static spot. Anyway, the fandom loves her, and Natalia Cordova (the actress who plays her) is super nice (you can find her on twitter @YOSOYCORDOVA). So Mack/Elena is an emerging ship, with a variety of fun ship names, including: mackelena (think macerena or however the dance is spelled), yoyomack, and more. I’ve even changed my twitter handle to reflect how I feel about her (and that I may ship her with a certain someone. (You can find me @yoyoquake)

Bobbi and Hunter were great in this episode! They had a great dialogue in which they admitted to trying the fish oil pills, in the hope they’d become an inhuman, to which Mack basically rolls his eyes at, saying “You two deserve each other.” They get captured, and it gets into the whole “tell us what we want to know or we’ll kill the other” situation, but they get out okay.

Elena decides to join the team, but on the condition she can still be at home, and be called in if needed or work from there. Joey also takes advantage of this, and chooses to go home at least for a bit. Daisy asks Lincoln if he’s thinking of leaving too, but he tells her he’s staying, and they kiss. Aw. We also learn Coulson will have to work with Talbot, so that’ll be an adventure. We also see a little of Hive this ep — he’s pretty darn creepy.

☆AoS 3×08: Many Heads, One Tale☆

Yes, I’m late. Even later than normal, as normally I’d be posting in the mornings, or at least before AoS comes on. Alas, there was no AoS this week :c So I’m posting a little late. This post will probably be pretty short– I’m having a meh kind of night, and stuff needs to be done for Thanksgiving. Anyway, let’s get started!

The main thing that was hyped up about this episode was the supposed Fitzsimmons kiss. Even though many believed it could happen, I was skeptical– I thought it was just a tease, that they wouldn’t actually kiss. Well, I was wrong. Fitz and Simmons argue, and at one point Fitz mentions that even “the bloody cosmos” doesn’t want them to be together. But he kisses her, pushing her up against a table/desk, where she knocks some books and papers to the floor. He pulls away, but she kisses him back. Then he leaves– It’s really not a happy moment, even if kissing is involved. Some fans are all like “Yay, Fitzsimmons is together now!!” but they’re totally not. Like, I can understand being excited that your ship kissed (hell, I ship Fitzsimmons too) but just because they did, doesn’t instantly make them a happy couple. Anyway, Simmons realizes the papers that fell to the ground show something– And later at a meeting Fitz and Simmons later tell the team what they found out. Turns out Will and his group are linked to HYDRA– and the team was sent as a sacrifice, not to discover things. I’m adamant that Will is still a good person though. Surely, he must not have known that it was HYDRA, or, even if he did, I’m sure he had noble intents.

Bobbi and Hunter went undercover in this episode, and they were pretty awesome. Bobbi kicked butt with her batons ❤ Hunter was a huge dork, in the best way possible. He was undercover as a hacker, and Daisy was telling him what to say. It was pretty funny when he was taking a while to hack the stuff, and Daisy was all like “smh @ hunter”. Anyway  Hunter + Bobbi + undercover = basically dream come true. So that was great! :0

 

Also: May was nice and apologized to Lincoln, MayLincoln is totally adorable although I don’t ship it romantically. Lincoln is totally in love with Daisy. Turns out, Ward has Andrew and like purposely gassed him to make him turn into Lash. Ward’s trying to use Lash as a weapon, it seems.

 

Well, in other news the Civil War trailer is out, so if I’m good I’ll post a review of that later.

☆AoS 3×06: Among Us Hide…☆

In this episode we found out that Rosalind is keeping Inhumans in a coma-like state, in these containers. We learn there are reasons for it– personal ones, but still. Coulson acts like he’s okay with it, and they get a little flirty and stuff. Yeah that’s pretty much all I’ve got to say about that tbh..

At the start of the episode, May seemingly attacks Bobbi. Bobbi says that she didn’t want Andrew to get killed, she didn’t mean for that to happen. Turns out, it was a test to see if Bobbi is field-ready, and May decides she is. Bobbi and Hunter talk a bit before she goes, and she asks Hunter if he’s going to “say the thing”, to which he replies that she already knows it. That kind of breaks my heart, as she obviously wanted him to say it then. She goes on the mission with May, and they are in a bank, doing work. bobbi looks great in glasses and bobbi and may talking in mandarin is my new aesthetic Something goes wrong, and as the gate closes, Bobbi obviously jumps– because of her PTSD. She tries to avoid fighting, but they have to fight. Later on, she has to really fight– she is shoved underwater, and she’s obviously struggling. When she gets out, she takes a huge breath, then kicks ass. She says how she knows she’ll beat the guy is thanks to “experience”– something which May had recently talked to her about. It was great to see Bobbi back in action, and see the visible effects/affects (lol i’m too lazy to figure out which is right) of the trauma she’s been through. I’m hoping, though, that they continue to show her PTSD. Sure, she kicked butt, but that doesn’t instantly make PTSD go away, and I’m really hoping that will continue to be addressed.

There was a huge reveal in this episode– first of all, Andrew isn’t dead– and, turns out, he’s Lash. That was pretty unexpected (although i had read a theory about it but still) and after that it’s pretty frightening– hopefully he won’t hurt anyone. May talks to a dying Alexander/Werner/whateverhisnameis about it, and when he explains, May is very shaken, especially for her. Yeah, so that was the biggest twist so far this season.

Lincoln and Daisy talk briefly at the end of the episode cute as always   so yeah. Not much really happens with that, though. Hunter was pretty funny in this episode–being bored he tags along with Daisy and Mack, and ices a guy surprisingly. Yeah he’s kind of amazing.

So that’s that! Joey’s back in this episode, so yay! Hopefully Lash doesn’t kill him… This’ll probably be a tense episode, to say the least.

☆AoS 3×03: A Wanted (Inhu)Man☆

Fitzsimmons. But mostly Simmons. Okay so Elizabeth Hendstridge’s acting in the ep was to die for. I mean, it was hella. Like wow girl, slay. So Fitzsimmons was great too, Fitz holding Simmons’s hand and overall cuteness. And so Simmons was having a panic/ptsd attack with all the bright lights and noise… poor baby. And, obviously, I haven’t went through what she has. But I have started panicking before, and Liz did a great job of portraying that. At one point, Daisy comes to visit Simmons– it’s a cute scene, Daisy telling Simmons she can call her whatever she wants, and bringing her flowers. Then Fitz takes her out to eat– turns out he’s kept the reservation for all these months, and he’s even emptied out the restaurant so it won’t freak her out. It’s super sweet, and throughout their conversation you can see the obvious attachment they have to each other. Then she starts sobbing, and he’s there beside her and 💔 Ouch, my heart. And although I ship Fitzsimmons to the moon and back, I think that needs to be set aside for a moment, while we worry about Simmons’s well-being. At the end of the episode, she’s back in the lab that freaked her out earlier– Bobbi comes in and tells her there’s no way it’ll ever reopen, trying to soothe her. But Simmons jerks away, saying: “I have to go back.” So that’s pretty intense and we’re not quite sure what’s going on there. Hopefully more of it will be explored tonight and in the future.

May and Hunter went undercover to try to find Ward and stuff. At one point when Hunter was talking to another guy trying to get info, they put subtitles on screen– I actually liked that, because for some reason it takes a lot of effort for me to figure out what they are saying, but there was some drama about that on Twitter. And Hunter was fighting someone, and he got super bloodied and bruised up. It was pretty intense. May got hugged and acted super weird about it, which was hilarious. And she kicked butt so it was all good. I don’t really remember the end of what happened with them, but I think they were talking to some HYDRA people about Hunter meeting Ward.

Rosalind and Coulson had a talk. I thought it was funny when Coulson was looking at her car and she said that her eyes were up there lol. But yeah it was okay, they were arguing about the mission going on with Daisy and Lincoln and Mack and stuff. I still don’t really like Rosalind. Anyway, at the end they decided they were going to work together, which sucks. I’d much rather the ATCU be SHIELD’s main enemy, rather than HYDRA. Of course, that may have to do with the hatred I have for Ward. But whatever.

So Lincoln in this episode was awesome. I mean, he’s always awesome but ya know. He was running away from the ATCU. Turns out SHIELD had stuck a tracker into him– he learned that when Daisy was calling him, trying to help him. He takes the tracker out– also taking off his shirt 😍 ANYWAY. So he gets the help of John, an old friend of his. And it turns out Lincoln is/was an alcoholic and suicidal. 💔 John is nice and lets Lincoln sleep, and is there for him. But then he sees Lincoln on the news, and gets out a metal bat to attack him. Lincoln zaps the bat, but then John has what appears to be a heart attack. Lincoln tries to zap him back to life, but it doesn’t work 😢. So Daisy comes to Lincoln and says she’ll help him as he helped her, and they kiss 💏. Tbh, I don’t think they should’ve kissed yet, I think they should’ve led up to it more and stuff. Anyway. So Lincoln says he’ll go with her, but then Mack and the ATCU and drama. In the end, Rosalind and Coulson make a deal, and the ATCU takes Lincoln. Aw.

Last but not least, my fave, Bobbi. She calls Hunter and talks to him when he’s on the mission and stuff. Near the end of the episode, she is seen overworking herself. She’s mad that she can’t go in the field, that she can’t go with Hunter or help him. So she works out, pushing herself past her limit because she knows she can do better. She punches a punching bag through the pain, and her facade breaks as she punches and punches and punches. But then she goes to talk to Simmons, facade back in place, and she’s sweet and caring and 💔💔💔

Tonight’s episode has Ginger Inhuman, so we’ll have to see where that goes.
