✿Agent Carter 2×10: Hollywood Ending✿

way late, but here’s a quick review of the season finale of Agent Carter. Overall, it was kind of disappointing, imo. Probably because we’ve had 2 hr normal weeks, with more suspense, and more time. More time to get into it, and stuff, yanno? and this was shorter, and less exciting, i guess. kudos to this review for helping me remember the episode.

First off, Jason is alive!! yayyyyyyy!! And at the end of the episode, we find he is planning to work with/for Howard Stark, so hopefully he’ll be happy 🙂 He’s a cool character.

We find out, that Manfredi is actually friends with Howard. It seems he’s attacking, but suddenly he’s best buds with Howard.. a relief, but a bit confusing. Anyway, Howard is pretty funny in the episode — not always funny in a nice way; funny in a very Howard Stark way, if u know what I mean.

The end is a little more intense… they need to close the ‘rift’ and to do so they’ll have to go into a dangerous area close to the ‘rift’, risking their lives. They discuss who should risk their life, and turn around and realize Sousa is doing it. Everyone struggles pulling him out, which includes Howard making jokes about ‘thinking unsavory thoughts’ about Peggy. Funny, but somewhat rude. See what I mean about Howard Stark humor? Peggy starts getting ready to back to NY. Jarvis asks her why, why wouldn’t she rather stay? For reasons (see: Sousa). Peggy says she’s got everything back in NY– her job, her roommate (cue me melting bc peggyangie y’all. just a mention of my angel gets me HYPED), etc. Anyway, Peggy decides she’ll go ahead and stay. She goes to Sousa, and they start making out. Well, not right away, it starts with a simple kiss. Now, Sousa/Peggy is great and all, but I ship Cartinelli too much for me to really enjoy it. Sadly, at the end, Thompson is shot and killed. Now, I know he’s kind of a douche, but still. Ugh 😦

 

Let’s hope Agent Carter and Peggy get renewed for another wonderful season!

okay okay so there was an actual musical number??? with a cameo by Angie, which was the greatest. (but we need more, we always need more, mORE ANGIE/PEGGY 2k15!!!!) and Dottie was in it too — but that was all we got of her in the episodes, which was really depressing. Seriously, Agent Carter, where are my girls??? but the number was AMAZE. and like i’m totally gonna buy it when it comes out on iTunes ok bc it’s so gOOD. it’s like am i watching Agent Carter, or Glee? but i loved it. and there was another Glee reference, i have GOT to stop doing that, geezus.

Jarvis was so worried about Ana this ep, like could a more perfect couple exist>?!! (well, yes, but these two fit together so damn perfect) he even sHOOTS WHITNEY(/agnes) bc he’s so hellbent on revenge. poor baby. eventually, after an emotional argument with peggy, he goes back to Ana’s side adhkljdm. but ana can’t have kids.. which like isn’t so bad i don’t think?? but jarvis puts off telling her for a while bc i guess he thinks it’s bad?? idk man.

Thompson is (i guess) pretty evil. the tides kept changing this ep, sometimes he seemed evil, sometimes not so much, but in the end he’s not the coolest guy, you could say that. but during all the tricks and turns, he and Sousa both say “do as Peggy says!!” a reference to s1, basically the recipe for my death. i wish thompson wasn’t on this bad path rn, and i believed / wanted him to be good (like, i guess they need more villains, but Thompson!!!) , but no. so.

jason is with Whitney, and on her side at least somewhat. he ends up going into this zero matter portal. Whitney is hella jealous — “WHAT ABOUT ME??????” but. and anyway he comes back and Whitney ties him to a table and wants to like harvest the zero matter out of him. and he’s feeling increasingly unstable like something bad is gonna happen. Peggy later comes to rescue him, but he knows he’ll just cause harm so he stays. and then he blows up :c that’s basically how the episode ends. and i know this pretty much means Jason is dead but i mean who know??? maybe he’ll come back?? and maybe i’m just holding on to false hope but that’s really not the point.

Peggy!! In this episode, she was pretty funny, she kept memory wiping a guy she had met previously. See, she had met him a while back, he had asked “What’s your name, darling?” to which she had replied, “Agent.” Anyway, she doubts he’ll remember her, but has the memory wiping thing just in case– but it’s risky, and can have side effects. It seems he doesn’t remember her– he flirts with her, to which she goes along with, and it’s going fine. Then he remembers, “Agent.” And so goes to find her, she wipes his memory. This repeats a few times. At the end of the episode, she is impaled (Whitney/Agnes drops her off a ledge) but she ends up alright, but still weak. At the end, Jason goes to see her while she’s resting, but then he fades away. *gasp*

Sousa proposes to Violet… awwww ❤ But then it’s clear he and Peggy have something going on, and Violet notices it. I do ship Peggy / Sousa. But then again, I also ship Peggy / Jason. I mean, most of all I ship Peggy / Angie, but it seems that isn’t gonna happen what with Angie being AWOL. And I do also ship Peggy / Dottie. Multi shipping for the win, amirate?

Yay for team shots! the team is awesome– Rose kicks ass. Sousa is worried she’ll get hurt, but she proves him wrong by attacking a guy easy as pie. She is also good at helping Dr. Samberly stay focused, by encouraging and flirting with him. Yay Rose! Jarvis ends up having to retrieve the bombs, which he totally is freaked out about, but manages to get through it with Sousa’s help.

 

Well, we’ve got a 2 hour ep tonight, yay!

Agent Carter came back, with a wonderful two-hour, two-episode premiere! I loved it, Peggy kicks ass and it’s great to have her back <3333 I really missed the fact that Angie is gone, and was never even mentioned. Like, at the end of the last season, they were living together??? and now Angie is but a distant memory??? like what!!!??? (well, i’m a bit biased, i LOVE angie and cartinelli but sTILL). Jarvis is funny as ever, and we got to meet some awesome new characters who were really intriguing.

We got to meet Ana Jarvis, who is super cool!!! she’s hilarious and amazing!!! she’s really nice to Peggy, and doesn’t mind Jarvis and Peggy being so close, which is refreshingly nice! I hope we get to see more of her, bc she’s totally amazing!!!!!!!

Jason Wilkes was super awesome. The relationship he had with Peggy, although short-lived, was adorable. He was sweet and nice and flirty and :3 Sadly, he died. Although, Whitney came back after that, so maybe he will too? But even if he does, he’ll probably be consumed by the monster-void stuff, so. :c

Dottie is insanely awesome. She wasn’t in it a whole lot, but she’s a very intriguing character, and she has a pretty obvious thing for Peggy so I’m shipping that now… What with Angie gone, I need another PeggyxGirl ship. bc bisexual peggy carter ftw!!

Whitney Frost. (And her husband, idk his name oops) Anyway, they’re bad guys(i guess), but now things are even crazier bc Whitney has been consumed by the black-hole-esc void stuff. well, that’ll be an interesting storyline!

✿Agent Carter 1×08: Valediction✿

This is it. This is the end.

Okay, so this was the finale. Fingers crossed for a season two, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Anyway, this episode was great! As are all the episodes. When Sousa breathed in the crazy gas (midnight oil) That was———– ahhh my baby. I really like Daniel and yeah. If you couldn’t already tell, my thoughts on this episode will mainly be incoherent. And then Howard gave himself up for bait. It so wasn’t his fault. I mean, yes, he did make those things, but it was other people who used them for wrongdoing. When Howard admits that he’s done wrong, but he’s not a bad person and Ivchenko says “Yes. Yes you are” and Howard eyes are tearing up because he knows he’s done bad things. Feels. And then he gets hypnotized. Jarvisssss. When he says he’ll fly the plane and will shoot Howard down if necessary but he really really doesn’t want to hurt/kill Howard but he’s willing to take the risk because if he has to kill him it’ll be to save many more lives. Jarvis is such a good, nice person. I love him. Peggy and Dottie were fighting, and in the end when Dottie was kicked out of the window, I thought she was dead. Near the end of the episode, she’s gone, so she obviously lives. Peggy says that she thinks they’ll run into her again, teasing the thought of a second season. I loved how Daniel had earplugs in and totally didn’t get hypnotized by Ivchenko. That was awesome. Luckily Peggy pulls Howard of his trance, in a scene resembling the one where Steve is about to crash the plane into the water. Afterwards, when we see Peggy walk into the office to join the SSR again, the other agents clap for her. She finally gets the recognition she deserves. I thought maybe she would be treated with more respect. But then some guy who is a senator or something congratulates Thompson. Thompson accepts it, much to my disgust. AHHHH. But Peggy says she doesn’t need anyone to applaud her, because she knows her worth. Daniel got mad at Thompson, which was nice. He’s finally realizing that Peggy deserves to be treated with respect, so that’s nice. And we got to see Angie again! And it looks like she and Peggy will be staying together at one of Howard’s houses! Yay! They’re awesome, and I kind of ship them. I love Angie so muchhhhh. And Jarvis gave Peggy Steve’s blood which was so thoughtful of him. He’s such a sweet guy. And Peggy poured the blood into the water. That scene gave me so many feelings. “Goodbye, my darling.” Made me want to cry. I ship Steggy so much and I really really wish they could have been together and happy and I’ll never be over that. They would have been great together, and they both feel an ache in their heart thinking of each other and I really want them to be together with a burning passion.

This was an AMAZING show, and I really want more. Here’s to hoping they’ll make another season!

✿Agent Carter 1×06: A Sin to Err✿

Late post, yet again. A thousand apologies. Okay, let me say some shizzle.

Okay, so Peggy gets cornered by Thompson and Sousa. When Daniel doesn’t capture Peggy, I just– Feels, k? Like, I’m shipping them at that moment. My favorite part of the episode was when Angie started crying and everyone didn’t know what to do. And when Thompson said Gam-gam, that was pretty dang funny ok. Like, I mainly ship Peggy with Angie but—/. Some people ship her with Howard too. But we know she won’t end up with either of them. In CA:TWS we see her spouse is a guy, so that rules out Angie. The MCU also told us that Tony’s mother is named Maria. Sooooo. It could be Sousa though, and that’s what I’m hoping for. I’ve come to accept that Peggy and Angie won’t end up together. Now that Daniel and Peggy’s ship is sailing hard for me, I’ve started to ship Angie with Jack Thompson. Kind of a crackship, I know, but…

While Howard’s list of ladies was slightly amusing, it proves his doucheness. Like, really? That many girls? He’s an asshole. I was happy that Dottie killed that guy. I mean, yeah it was a little overboard, but the guy was trying to rape her. (Or so it seemed) I am loving Dottie lately. And when she kissed Peggy… If only there was some real lesbian representation.

✿Agent Carter 1×05: The Iron Ceiling✿

Gah, I’m really late, but I’m making sure to cram this in before tonights episode.

(Reason for my lateness- business, laziness, two performances, etc)

Okay, so we see Dottie as a child in the Red Room. Dottie is the villain, but thanks to others views, I’ve started to like her. Another girl gives Dottie some bread, and the two seem to become friendly. We then see Dottie being instructed to snap the girl’s neck. Later on in the episode, Dottie handcuffs herself to her bed. In the Red Room flashback, the girls were handcuffed to their beds. Through this we can see the lasting effect the Red Room has on Dottie. The Howling Commandos are back! In this episode they truly kick butt. Jack Thompson doubts Peggy at first, dismissing her because of her gender. Throughout the mission he learns to appreciate her. He ends up telling her the fact that he has done a bad thing, but everyone thought it was good, because they didn’t know the whole story. He reveals that he has always tried to tell the story. Peggy is the one he told. At the end of the episode, we see Thompson invite Peggy out for dinner, accepting her as “one of the guys”. Daniel Sousa notices that Peggy is the woman they were looking for, yikes! I’m worried for Peggy. From the trailer for next episode, it looks like Thompson will be the one to confront her. (Or was it Sousa?) When Sousa saw Peggy partially undressed, I was excited for a funny, blush-filled scene, but it wasn’t that lighthearted. I totally ship Sousa with Peg, although I ship her with Angie more. Angie hasn’t been a big part of these last episodes, which depresses me. Dugan is one of my favorite Howling Commandos, I was worried when the young girl stabbed him. Luckily, he survived. My family thought the little girl was evil, although I beg to differ. She had been tortured, and conditioned to be the way she was. Anyway, this was one of my favorite episodes, and I’m excited for the episode tonight!

✿Agent Carter 1×04: The Blitzkrieg Button✿

I know, I know. I’m way late. I have a busy life, sorry. Anyway, I don’t remember many details from this episode but I’ll talk about shiz anyway. So okay, apparently Dottie is a Black Widow?? The coming episode will involve the Red Room?? Or so I’ve heard, thanks to some articles. That’s pretty cool, any connections to Nat are always nice 🙂 Also, Howard is basically a butthole. He lied to Peggy, and he objectifies women. Douchebag, much? The Steve’s blood thing was cool. It’s always nice to see how much Peggy cares about Steve, and aspires to be like him. Steggy4Life. And yay, Stan Lee cameo! He cameos in everything and I love it. Jarvis really seems to be a nice and caring person, and I hope he can patch up his relationship with Peggy. I have heard of some people shipping Howard and Peggy, but I’m like nah. I ship Peggy and Angie. It was mean but kind of clever how the cyanide pills were actually just breath mints. When Sousa captured that guy and was trying to sympathize with him… Yeah okay I love Sousa. I somewhat ship him with Peggy, and some people have speculated that they might get married. We know Peggy can’t marry Howard, because Tony’s mother is Maria. But we do know that Peggy marries a man, so Angie’s out of the picture. Sousa is still an option.  Well, that’s basically all I have to say for now.

✿Agent Carter 1×03: Time and Tide✿

Sorry for the way late post. I’m busy + forgetful. 😦 Anyway, I, personally, didn’t like this episode as much as the first two. BUT, I still really enjoy this show! I ship Peggy and Angie so much, dangit. And when Peggy said “Your wife or your girlfriend?” to Krzeminski about who he was taking to the show. Since it has been a few days since the show happened, I don’t really remember a lot of the details, sorry. I didn’t really like the recap of the last episode. I mean, it was needed for new viewers, but it seemed kind of tacky to me. I loved when Jarvis tried to disguise his voice 😂 Also, Jarvis said he met his wife, Anna, in Budapest… And, well, I understood that reference. ❤ Sorry for the super short post, I’ll try to be more on time next week. I’ll be posting about the new Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer in a little bit, so stay tuned!
